Dana Wynter

Great Movie

After a couple of heavy posts, I felt like something light, so I decided to focus on Dana Wynter. She was a starlet of the Jean Simmons mold: brunette, classy, icey, sophisticated. Lo and behold she was a beauty but there are hardly any great 8 x 10s of her online.

So, instead I will put up some poster art from the film she is most remembered for: Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

That was a great flick. Really holds up today both as a sci-fi movie and a cold war metaphor.

I just read that Dana was married to one of Joan Crawford's rejects: Greg Bautzer. Who knew?
