Interview #?
I was supposed to talk with the job-guy today. He did not call but sent me an email at 5:30 mysteriously asking me if I could "come in on Monday." OK. I've met him and everyone else in the company. There was no mention of meeting someone else so I dunno, if I was an optimisitc person I would say that I smell an offer...But I'm pessimistic so I"ll hold off on that shopping spree.

Bart, no one is more pessimistic than me, but it does sound like they're going to offer you the job. Stay positive, it does look good.
Alex posted my comment today, so much for comment moderation, I'm the one that asked if he was doing steroids.
Thanks for the vote of confidence. That's funny about the steroid comment---he probably thought it was intended to be a compliment. His profile pics do look very different from one another. "Brand Alex" has relaunched, I wonder if he needs a marketing manager lol ~~~~

Man, this shit just keeps getting better, I must really get to Alex.
I was going to send you a link to his myspace profile, so you could compare the pictures of him there and his new one, but when I got there, he had deleted the pictures off his profile.
How fucking funny is that. I knew they were of two different guys. Why does no one else see this shit?

I think he deleted them because in your comment you inadvertantly reminded him that he had some brand inconsistancy going on and he is now going to remedy that.
I always found it very suspect that he did not have a lot of pics of himself on his blog. When you're that into sex and look good you constantly want to show off to attract more people. That is going to be his Achilles Heel at some point: not having more pics. Because nothing gets the masses excited like seeing someone's image. It turns regular people into Internet stars.
Another thing I find odd is that every NYC gay ho has a profile on Big Muscle, Gaydar, Manhunt, Men4SexNow. Where are his? MySpace is so PG and is about building an audience for his blog, those other sites I mentioned are about hooking up.
And where's all this "travel" in his "boring corporate job?" And where's the great love of "chocolate?" LOL. This is more like a description of a character than a life.
You are so right. Something stinks here.
And why does no one else see this shit? Jeez, I dunno. The older I get the more I see that the world is filled with followers not leaders, that people think they think for themselves but are highly prone to suggestion, and that there is a sort of collective innocence/naivette out there where people believe what they are told and never can consider the voice of lone dissent if it goes against popular opinion.
I'm so glad you came along Bart, I was sick of everyone acting like I was crazy or a fucking asshole for pointing out the inconsistencies in Alex's blog. I'm not the brightest person in the world, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out that guy is full of shit.
I hope we can build a friendship, we have a few things in common and from what I've read, have similar taste. You don't have to worry Bart, I'm not a deranged lunatic, psycho internet stalker or anything, you're safe. I've just really enjoyed our exchanges and hope they continue.

Something weird on BrandAlex: Now, if you click on someone's link or blog through their comments on his site, Alex's url still shows up as the address in the browser window. That is an ad tool for marketing so he can tell sponsors exactly where his audience is going, etc. Very big brother. Try it. It's creepy.
