Good Story
I always like good writing and I really like good short stories because they are usually under 30 pages. Anyway, to my surprise, I liked "Brokeback Mountain." It had a lot of texture and layers and one of the reasons I think it worked is because it was very sad and tragic but was written in a completely unmelodramatic, matter-of-fact manner which somehow made it even more affecting. All said, I was plesantly surprised.

So, I'm sure the guy above me is coming in his pants. Dearest Bart; althouth the same person who wrote this also wrote "The Shipping News", one of the most amateurish best sellers that made me scratch my head and say why the fuck do I not have a friend in publishing is not the case. This story; and movie, besides having 'the gay thing' is most gorgeous. So we, as sardonic mother fuckers must also allow beauty and romance into our hearts. I know thats what the chap who is most likely to give you a BJ or a handjob tomorrow at the gym is thinking.

Sorry to disappoint you Mickey, but I didn't cum in my pants. But, I do agree with you about "The Shipping News", it was terrible.
